The Baltimore Indian / South Asian Heritage Meetup Group

Find the Indian Community in your town! All are welcome: expats, immigrants, kids of immigrants, ABCDs, partners of Indian folk....anyone with some feeling of connection to the Indian subcontinent. We try to meet once a month (often a brunch on the second Sunday), and get together in between for happy hours, movies, or other activities. New members are especially encouraged to join in!!

The Baltimore Indian / South Asian Heritage June Meeting
People are always asking me what my favorite Indian restaurant is. What's your answer? Personally, I need to update my research on the matter! Over the next few months, I think it would be fun to sample our way through the local culinary landscape so we can be truly informed :)
This month's selection, by majority vote, is Akbar in Mount Vernon. Seems to be a tried and true favorite for many of us! Read more
