About The Indian Friends Meetup Group

You have all experienced that connection when you're walking somewhere and you see another person that looks like you and you want to go up to him/her but you don't know what to say - well, you can do that here. Just walk up and talk to another person who shares your common hair color, your food, your big ears (hehe - ), your music, your roots, your values, your language, your successes, etc?.

The truth is that you are a human being and you have needs. One of those needs is to socially connect with others whom you can admire, respect, and enjoy. So come on in??..

In the Indian Friends Meetup Group, we will:
- Learn about each other and make life long friends
- Explore our festivals, celebrations, cultures (Sari's, dhoti's, and phagadi's - hehe)
- Appreciate the nature (camping, hiking, canoeing, skating, etc.)
- Assist those that are in need ie. our senior citizens, youth, abcds'/desis' - lol.
- Watch and Share movies/music
- Go to concerts, operas, plays, museums, and other performances
- Engage in field related training, ie. computer science, legal, etc.
- Enhance our Indo-American lifestyle - that is so complicated and simple at times..not?
- Smile, have fun, and inspire each other?

There are only two criteria's:
- You have to be over the age of 21 and
- You have to live in GA or visiting GA (unless you have a really good reason - hehe - I can think of couple of them - lol.)

Trust Us:
- Don't be shy, just try it out atleast once..The people are simply fabulous and the experiences are unforgettable?.
- You can be single, married, divorced, 99 years of age - lol, etc. We don't judge as long as you have a great personality.
