This group is open to both indian expatriates, those of indian descent, and any others who share a reverence and appreciation for the contributions of all of india's indigenous spiritual disciplines/traditions to world civilization. In addition, this group is devoted to celebrating the diversity and richness of indian foods, indian clothing, indian literature, and indian art of all types. The format of the group will be to meet once a month at a public location, for a talk on a subject related to the groups focus, to be followed by lunch or dinner at a restaurant of mutual interest. The members of the group are encouraged at meetings, and when dining, to feel free to wear ethnic clothes that reflect their particular perspective on indian civilization. Be sure to take a look at the files provided as both word documents, or pdf files. One file suggests my present ideas for group activities. Finally, note that two additional files have been added recently that reference how to obtain the complete works of Swami Vivikenanda.
